I love a bit of punctuation in a
band name so we're off to a flyer here and then the music comes bounding in
like a leather clad Labrador high on 'special' biscuits. New single 'Phantom'
sees skanking guitars blended with pounding drums and a real sense of mischief
and menace. Stylistically this is somewhere between Rancid, the Misfits, Velcro
Hooks and West Coast Nu-Metal which the part of me that still buys skater
trainers finds incredibly exciting. The video looks a lot of fun as well which
gives the impression that these guys would be ace live which is lucky because
next month they're heading out on a national tour so get down the front and
prepare to skank your end of summer blues away.
