Gavin Ellis is Memory Maze and Memory Maze is Gavin Ellis, just to clear that up for you. 'Like A Mirage', on the other hand, is a piece of electro-pop with a subdued heart and a loveless soul. If you like your musical landscapes bleak, your tunes primed and ready for a walk in the rain and a certain sophistication to the music then Memory Maze is your man. There's a Daft Punk/Chic groove to the bass line and a some simplistic guitars that chime beautifully with the synths to create something slick and polished. Memory Maze might not be the act to get the party jumping but he's definitely gonna create a vibe for you to make a move to but you gotta keep it cool. Way cool.
