If you're after a song to have a good heartbroken wallow to then Laye has got your back with her new single, 'Unhappier'. Moody, 90s grunge guitars and vocals that are dripping in despair get us underway before the chorus bursts in to life like a mix of Evanescence and Avril Lavigne on a really bad day. "I hope you are unhappier" sings Laye in a way that says 'I'm miserable but you'd better be more miserable than me' and what says heartbreak more than that, eh?
