Friedberg - Goodwife
Release Date: Out Now
I'm not mad keen on giving any more airtime to the whole good wife concept but this latest single from Friedberg is such a great track that I'll have to overlook that particular ick. 'Goodwife' is a pulsating electro dirt track with plenty of cowbell, thrusting bass pulses, and the kind of electro energy that you'd expect from Goose, Goldfrapp, or some of the darker corners of 80s electro disco. Throw in some sultry vocals with a dead-eyed cool about them and you've got yourself the kind of track that gets under your skin and into your psyche.
