As soon as the menacing bass tones at the start of this track hit me, my ears prick up and I'm reminded of the superb Never Not Nothing (formerly known as Black Futures) and the Cooper Temple Clause but with a more techno vibe. However, this is the superbly named band This Is Shit and their new single 'Moloko Plus' which both twitches and prowls through the night on its way to an unknown destination. The growling synths and club beats are underpinned a sense of unease and slightly desperate vocals making this one of the more enthralling listens of 2026.
