South coast collective the Pursuit of Pleasure have, on their new single 'Awake Alone Again', channelled the energy of the Arcade Fire if Neil Hannon and Dylan Moran were playing chess in the production booth, occasionally leaning over to the mic and barking "be more insouciant". I very much adore how hard it is to pin down the sound of the Pursuit of Pleasure and I've long since given up trying, just listen and enjoy the music, OK?
