Australian outfit Sesame Girl have an incredibly wholesome sound that makes you want to breathe deeply and look off into the distance. New single 'Kick In The Teeth' combines that vibe with a vocal that is impish in sound by has a steely resilience beneath the surface. The woozy melodies and warmth remind me of Bailey Tomkinson & the Locals or, if you want to retro, a slight Sixpence None The Richer sound and I'm a fan having a bit more of that in the world right now.
