I really enjoy the time lapse video that accompanies Man/Woman/Chainsaw's new single 'Get Up And Dance' but the opening bars make it feel like watching a digital séance. The spooky tones give way to dreamy vocals and then a chugging guitar eases us into the main part of the song that slinks and sways with a dark, hypnotic energy. By the time the violin joins in, the fervour is both palpable and intoxicating with your senses filled by the irresistible sway and swoon the band create. Simply sumptuous stuff.
