Libby Ember - Gravity

Montreal's Libby Ember is a new artist to me but her latest single 'Gravity' is the kins of song that makes you want to hear more. To begin with, this feels like a bedroom alt-pop track chronicaling some heartbreak or loss and that may well be what is at the heart of this. However, the song craft, the pure tone of the vocals, and the honesty in both the lyrics and the delivery suggests this is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm sure Libby Ember has her eyes on the prize of a career as a performer but if in 10 years time she turned out to be behind some of the biggest pop tracks around then it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
