The perky alt-pop of 'Make Me' is enough to make you fall in love with UK duo Den Of Dog with an almost instant connection. There are elements of the Ting Tings and a mellower Sleigh Bells but with a solid base of Weezer and Suzi Quatro in the music while Dubstar and St Etienne come through in the poised pop vocals. Definitely a favourite new find from my perspective and a track that stands up to quite a few listens to unpick all the layers. Lush.
