TWAT UNION - Period Sex (Alcopop! Records)
Release Date: Out Now
Marvellous London collective TWAT UNION are back with their super new single 'Period Sex' and it is NOT a song about Bridgerton. This is storytelling at it's very best with the theme revolving around the question "who moved the towel?" - something we've all asked at some stage in our lives, right? Throbbing bass, spoken word vocals and a tense beat are joined by a chugging guitar but this song is really all about the lyrical content with lines like "when you're eating a peach, you don't blame the peach for the juice running down your hand". It's also probably the only song to name check Vanish Oxy Action and give tips on how to clean blood out of fabric. It's got the lot really, top stuff as always.
