Plymouth's StevieJay is back with new single 'Charlieboy', a stripped back sound and a story to tell. This is a love song delivered with a comforting electro-acoustic riff and an arrangement that builds from subtle to packing a punch. Vocally this has a country tinge to it but with one foot in the pop sphere as well so you could imagine hearing this on Radio 2 of an afternoon. Oh, and I should mention that the subject of the affection on this song is the singer's dog and who can object to a love song between a woman and her dog? Not me, that's for sure.
