Bristol duo the Actions are not new to this music thang, but they are new to my ears and I'm glad to have them there. New single 'Take More' mixes bubble gum pop with punk to take influences like Shampoo, the Ting Tings and Sleigh Bells on to the next level with raw guitars layers of vocals and the kind of beat that punches well above its own weight. Also, if you head over to their Bandcamp page, the pair have a couple of tasty remixes of this track to share and they are both brilliantly new takes on the original material so are well worth your time.
