An early contender for band name of the year, Wuzy Bambussy fortunately have the musical chops to back up such an intriguing moniker. 'By Candlelight' is a gentle acoustic pluck with delicate vocals sprinkled over the top but then comes the dramatic noir of the band who kick in with vampiric energy like the house band at a masquerade ball. Kat Harrison's vocal are the perfect balance of siren song and innocence personified as the band swirl around her with piano stabs and squalling guitar solos. A real treat for the senses.
