Komok is a one man show from the mind of London based Italian artist Alessandro Inglima and it's a one man show that we should all be buying a ticket for. New single 'Quasi-Human[e]' is an entirely instrumental piece and starts with a bubbling, brooding bass line before growing and emerging into a subtle electro banger that moves through Aphex Twin into Daft Punk and on to exciting new digital spaces. What I love about this track is that the beat never dominates and allows all the different flavours to be tasted and that makes for a much more enjoyable experience - trust an Italian to get the balance just right!
