Saiphon are wasting no time in cementing their reputation as one of the UK's hottest new rock bands and swaggering new single 'If It Helps You Sleep At Night' is a huge warning shot for their peers. Opening with some spoken word and atmospheric guitars, this one sounds like the Doors and Led Zep spliced together like some rock'n'roll Frankenstein's monster but once the riffing starts you can hear the British rock influence bubble to the surfaces. "Your high horse has gone rabid" is a great line and delivered with a snarl that adds a certain bite to the lyric in a way that suggests for ones so young this is a band that has studied the maestros of rock.
