Saiphon - New Man

The opening chug of this track genuinely sent tingles down my spine as the guitar rings out like a call to arms. Saiphon are still relatively new on the UK scene but new single 'New Man' suggests they've been doing their homework on legends like Led Zep and the Who whilst also learning lessons on building tension from bands like Kings of Leon or Pink Floyd. As the song steadily builds into an undeniable groove, a Slash-esque solo chimes out if I were listening to this while walking down the street I could definitely see myself breaking into something of a strut. Oh and there's a harmonica solo to give you that cherry on the cake you've been asking for.
