The incomparable Witch Fever are back with another new single amidst a wide ranging European tour. 'Safe' is an atmospheric and brooding number with pinging, 80s guitars and a raw drum beat placing the track somewhere between very early U2, the Fall and Sleigh Bells in terms of energy but there is a dark\ moodiness to this one that belongs solely to Witch Fever. There is an explosion of grunge energy and anger just after the half way point of this song and being made to wait for it just makes it all the sweeter. Glorious, tense and raw.
