Coming out just in time for Halloween is the new single 'Spooky' from the ever-impressive combination or Tribes of Europe & Barbara Stretch. Now, normally I'm not big on reviewing cover versions but this take on the Dusty Springfield classic is so beautifully faithful and authentic that it's worth all of our time. Dusky vocals, smooth keys, laid back drums and a smoky vibe transport you to an American bar as the 60s give way to the 70s and everyone is drinking cocktails while you watch the house band play. This is the musical version of anemoia, nostalgia for a time or place you never experienced.
