West Sussex rockers Saiphon might be young in years and early in their career but they've already mastered a number of key skills that will see them go far in this business called music. This single, 'Breaking Out', positively bristles with energy, is dripping in rock'n'roll chops, has a hooky-as-hell riff and a frontman who knows who to grab, hold and sucker punch your attention. A snarling, wailing guitar solo is the cherry on the cake and the cake alone would have been more than enough so I'd thoroughly recommend getting on board the Saiphon train - it's leaving the station soon and I reckon it's going to be a long (and groovy) journey.
