For those that don't know, Kevin French is a bit of a legend in Plymouth - a man known for his perseverance, strength and attitude towards life but now we can add 'creative' to his list of accolades. 'I Don't Care What You Think' (there's that attitude) has an infectiously trickling melody followed by some scissoring percussion and layered vocals so low in the mix that you could easily confuse them with your inner monologue or the whispers of strangers as you pass. There is a freshness and energy to this track that really jumps out at you and because it's a five minute trip it really stays with you whilst like a mix of Lemon Jelly, DJ Shadow and Cosmo Sheldrake on a high speed train racing through the Japanese countryside.
