Burgeoning Plymouth based talent Jasmine Wood has just dropped one of the noisiest and most raw new songs I've heard in a very long time. 'POV' takes the darkest, grungiest elements of early Nirvana and mixes it with the subdued, dead-eyed vocals of Courtney Love at her moodiest but that's just the surface I'm scratching at. The drum sound is brilliantly live and high in the mix, the chug of the guitars is elemental and the arrangement borders on the neo-classical. Definitely a song that holds up to repeat listening and an artist that we should all be listening to repeatedly.
