Cornish indie chaps Colour TV disappeared for a bit (of their own volition, they weren't kidnapped or anything) but with new single 'At Sunset' they've come roaring back into our hearts and minds. The Smiths-esque guitars are pitched against at the angst ridden but oh-so-English vocals to create a sound that fills a void in the musical landscape. Some excellent bass work and frenetic drumming put me in mind of early Franz Ferdinand material and, all in all, this is an exquisite track that will have fans swooning if they know what's good for them.
