I know Fontaines D.C. get a lot of attention but I always thought Gurriers were the Irish band that we should all be more excited about so I was delighted to receive this latest release. New single 'Erasure' is a brutal assault on the senses with grinding guitars and quick-fire bass but this is not just wanton noise, oh no sir. You see, Gurriers come with a laser focus and determination to bring their style of alt-rock to the masses to both entertain, inform, and enrage in abundance.
