This is an almost unrecognisable reimagining of the song made famous by Visage as Cole Stacey and original writer Midge Ure strip 'Fade To Grey' back to its core. Gentle, rippling guitar notes create the kind of misty atmosphere you'd expect to see on the banks of the river Styx while Stacey's poised but fragile vocal holds on to the melody by the finger tips. Having lived for over 40 years, this song now feels full of regret and a sense of nostalgia but this rendering gives it a new face.
