I think it's almost vital that you watch the video for this one as you listen to it in order to get the full experience. Veronica D'Souza is a subtle powerhouse behind the drums on 'Canary Song' looking like a long distance runner who has taken a wrong turn and arrived in a studio. To counteract that energy, D'Souza's vocals are full of soul, warmth and more than a little sadness at the loss of community and open communication. This is a really special song and the energy from the video and the music is pretty healing if I'm honest (which I always am).
