I'm going on a bit of a journey with Marie Franc (not literally) and it is becoming increasingly enjoyable as journeys go. New single 'Leave The Light On' lilts and meanders with such natural and beautiful ease that it seems to slow time down around you while the guitars ripple and the beat encourages rather than forces the tempo. The real star hear is the soft vocal that weaves a spell and calls like a late night siren to tempt you in and convince you to drop your defences - something we could all do with doing in these times of being ever-ready for a fight.
