I really (and I mean, really) enjoyed Louis Dunford's album from earlier this year so it was a real treat to see more new music from him pop up in my inbox. 'Did You Hear About Charlie?' continues the theme of Dunford's story telling about a misspent youth set to a rousing acoustic strum. What Dunford does so well is make these songs sound like he's singing them just to remember rather than try to convince you of anything. It's like flicking through his photo album and laughing, crying and remembering while you drink tea round at his mum's. Thanks for the stories, Louis.
