Lordy, lordy, lordy. It seems the lads of Krooked Tongue still aren't bestriding the world of rock'n'roll in the way their music demands so this is a bit of a call to arms, loyal readers. The Bristol outfit have been churning out an unnervingly high standard of singles and 'Dog Days' is their latest offering so it's high time we gave them a big push over the top. Searing and soaring guitars are underpinned by a grumbling bass while the vocals switch between dreamy verses and more focused choruses. There's a latter-day Cooper Temple Clause vibe to this one with effortless cool colliding with a dark and sharp edge that keeps you guessing throughout.
