Coming to the end of a European tour supporting the legendary Ani DiFranco, Gracie & Rachel have released their latest single for all their new and existing fans. 'WTF' finds the Brooklyn duo in reflective and gentle mood as their combination of violin string swipes and impish vocals create a sound like First Aid Kit covering the Beatles with deftness and reverence. Behind the sound, however, is the sound of someone at their absolute wits end with lyrics like "no one's home when I'm spiralling, I feel so sorry for my dreams" delivered with the dead eyes and gritted teeth of a single parent who's kid is tantruming for the third time today and it's not even breakfast yet. WTF indeed.
