Bristol's Elly Hopkins has a lazy swagger about her that I just adore on her new single 'Cecile'. The bluesy guitars drag themselves up off the couch they've been snoozing on and Hopkins' vocals join in with a world weariness that we can all identify with. Pouring a hot cup of organs and shuffling along to the beat, this song emerges blinking into the bright sunlight of the back vocals which warm you down to your bones. A genuinely lovely song even if it does smell a little of last night's bourbon.
