DR DR are not your average sounding Manchester band. There's no baggy sound here and no indie sneer to be heard. 'Vultures' powers into your consciousness with a big, nay, stadium sized bass line and guitar riff coupled with drums that could knock the rivets out of an ocean liner. There such an ambition and future-rock sound on this track that I had to double check it wasn't being churned out of some American major label machine but it's not. It's just two and a half minutes of unrelenting rock power with some theatrical flourishes sprinkled over it for good measure.
