DINOSAUR PILE-UP - SINGLE REVIEW

Dinosaur Pile-Up - Big Dogs (Mascot Records)

Release Date: Out Now

Leeds trio Dinosaur Pile-Up are leaning into their new role as the free speakers of rock with their latest single, 'Big Dogs', taking aim at Celebrity Culture. Chugging guitars accompany a dead-pan vocal delivery that delivers lines like "Once I knew a valet out in Beverley Hills, He used to steal all the nice cars just to pay the bills". The trademark DP-U whopper of a chorus is, of course, present and correct and if you can't sing along to lyrics like "Big dogs eat for free" while stamping your muddy boots on copies of Hello or pictures of the Kardashians then you're no friend of mine.
