OK, OK, this Calva Louise lot are steadily becoming one of my favourite ever bands and I need you lot to get on board with this, alright? The trio's new single, 'Impeccable', is an absolute tour de force of blending dark and heavy energy with hooky melodies and a penchant for the theatrical. The poised and almost ritualistic vocals soar gracefully above the juggernaut rhythm section and the guitars tie the whole thing together like a sacrificial offering. Oh, and then there's the Spanish spoken word break down and yet another outstanding video that would be just as captivating without the stunning soundtrack. Get on board people, these are the real deal. Or maybe the ethereal deal.
