Third Girl From The Left is an enigmatic Devon based artist who pops up every now again with new material and never fails to impress. New single 'Hollowed' lures you in with some ambient atmospherics before coming out with something more strident in the shape of a pop-rock adventure. There are hints of Garbage, Imogen Heap, and Ani DiFranco in the mood and vocals while the melodies bubble and bounce around in the background. There's also a Doors-esque organ floating about in there which is an unexpected but not unwelcome surprise. Like I said, she never fails to impress.
