You could easily forgive the Zutons if they just sat back and raked in the 'Valerie' dollar but instead they're continuing to plough their unique furrow with new single 'Popcorn'. A slow, regret filled acoustic strum gets us underway, joined by Dave McCabe's sweet, rich vocal that sits comfortably between Americana troubadour and Liverpudlian story teller. As the song swells effortlessly towards its crescendo, you can't help but be impressed by the band's ability to craft songs and deliver them with easy style.
