This is a more introspective and reflective track from Exeter trio Soot Sprite but don't be fooled into thinking this is any less powerful than their previous releases. 'Vicious Cycles' packs the emotional punch of an 80s power ballad mixed with the visceral power of Calva Louise or My Vitriol at their most acerbic. I honestly don't want to imagine a world where Soot Sprite don't get to play their music to packed stadium's one day because songs like these deserve to be sung back at them by mascara streaked by smiling faces.
