The first few seconds of this latest release from Belfast's Problem Patterns are so brilliantly glam rock that it got me incredibly excited and the rest of the song doesn't disappoint either. 'Sad Old Woman' comes thundering in on the back of a horse swinging a mace made of leather and starts spitting truths at anyone who cares to listen. The punk spirit is strong, the garage vibes are worn with pride and Matt Korvette from Pissed Jeans just can't help joining in with a Jon Spencer-esque vocal performance. Furious in every sense.
