Huzzah for the excellent Man/Woman/Chainsaw as they return with curious new single 'Adam & Steve'. The hotly tipped collective turn rippling piano notes into a chugging and infectious melody in the vein of Arcade Fire or a grunge influenced Fleetwood Mac having an absolute ball. There are so many influences in here from sea shanties and folk to garage rock and a real sense of the theatrical, making this the musical equivalent of piling up your plate at the wedding buffet only to find that sweet'n'sour sauce goes remarkably well with pork pie. Bring me another plate, it's delicious!
