This is my first time hearing Witch and that's a crying shame because they are awesome and there is a whole back catalogue to explore but I'm going to take the 'better later than never' approach and enjoy being a new fan for now. New single 'Queenless King' mixes Funk, Soul, Afrobeat and Disco with some brilliant guitar work, a bubbling bass and furious percussion all smothered in spacey keys. Throw in the vocals that switch from Reggae lead to soulful backing vocals and you've got yourself an infectious cut that will have you reaching for the Maracas in no time.
