Austin's Taylor Rae has merged some country roots with a smooth, lounge style on new single 'Cologne' and I could listen to it all day. There are elements of Joss Stone to the vibes and vocals, some slick guitar playing duelling with the organs and a drummer keeping everyone on track. It is the bass line that wins it for me, bubbling along with an effortless mix of cool and sexy while the seductive lyrics snake around your senses, "I wear your cologne when I'm feeling low" is a great line.
