This is the second single I've had the joy of reviewing from Freak Slug but who could resist a song by anyone with the title 'Sexy Lemon'? Not this guy. Great titles aside, we're talking lo-fi beats, mellow keys and sleepy vocals creating a vibe that is pure Saturday afternoon. The energy kicks up slightly to pitch itself somewhere between the Ting Tings, Sleigh Bells and Regina Spektor but overall this is the kind of tune that creeps under your skin before you realise it and then becomes one of your firm favourites.
