There are times in life when you put two things together for the first time that it never occurred to you to combine before and they just make sense. I had this experience with peanut butter and Bovril once and now, well, now we have the legendary Slash guesting on the new single by formidable singer-songwriter Beth Hart...and boy does it work!? 'Savior With A Razor' has, as you might expect, a huge guitar sound to it but what I wasn't necessarily ready for was the slabs of drums that underpin them like monoliths being torn from the ground by a higher power. Hart's vocal is as raspingly powerful as ever and is one of the few voices that could cope with this kind of kind tune so, all in all, it's a match made in.....well, if heaven was a whisky bar in Nashville....
