From the mean streets of Macclesfield come the Virginmarys and their powerhouse new single 'Northwest Coast'. Swaggering guitars and stomping drums are the order of the day on one of the most direct yet stylish songs of 2024 with hints of Moriaty, Queens of the Stone Age and the Black Keys. I've only been to Blackpool once but aside from that I've never visited the Northwest Coast but if it's as good as this song makes it sound then I'm sold. Limos and Boddingtons all the way!
