I first came across the Blank Atlas boys about a year ago as they supported Jamie Lenman at the Junction in Plymouth and was blown away by their energy, songwriting and sheer passion. The Bristol trio's new single manages to harness all of that and more as 'Hope' as a sense of absolute exuberance comes thundering out from the machine gun fire guitars and juggernaut rhythm section. Throw in a vocal melody that is pure euphoria and you've got yourself the kind of song that will get you hyped up to take on a new day, fight the good fight or just clean the kitchen like an absolute boss. Simply superb.
