So, the song title of the year goes to 'Jort Season', the new single from Sheffield outfit Pale Sailor. The song itself isn't half bad either as we start strongly with the opening bars of chugging, punk inspired bass followed by galloping drums. When the band fully explode into life it is a glorious barrage of sound sewn together with melodies with the deftness of Biffy Clyro, the power of Sum 41 and the radio friendly slickness of Avril Lavigne. Oh, and this song is exactly three minutes long which just makes it all the more perfect.
