Aussie sisters Charm of Finches are heading to the UK later this year and I'd urge you to give them a listen before booking yourself a ticket for a show. The duo's new single 'Clean Cut' is throbbing with 80s energy and stylish melodies that hint at their talent but it is the vocal harmonies that really set them apart from other artists. Violins bounce around with a maudlin energy while the drums thump relentlessly like an ominously approaching Viking warship which, I'm pretty sure, is the first time I've ever written those words together in a sentence. Unique, stylish and utterly enthralling - count me in.
