If you can imagine what L7 or Hole would have sounded like if they'd formed in the wastelands of post-Brexit Britan then you can imagine Sulk. The London based band take no prisoners on their new single, 'Give It A Squeeze', grinds in to life before erupting in a flurry of grunge guitars and pounding drums that speak very strongly to my 90s self. The vocals shift from breathless to screaming to dead-eyed sneer to femme-fatale within the blink of an eye so you can't take your eyes or ears off this one for a second. Oh, and it's their debut release - talented bastards.
