The brilliantly named Femegades aren't messing about on new single 'Toolish' so if you like your rock'n'roll with a razor sharp edge then come on in. Post-grunge intensity in the guitars and impatient drums make for a brooding verse before the chorus explodes, letting the vocals off their leash and releasing the full force of the band loose. There are elements of Belly, the Breeders, Veruca Salt, 4 None Blonds and Bush all tangled up in here which, as far as I'm concerned, is a big thumbs up.
