A sneaky little single release from the ever-excellent Pattern Pusher but this is a more laid-back number from the Exeter trio. 'Hotel Room' makes the most of some jazz inspired percussion and marshmallow-soft keyboards with a smooooth bass line keeping things bubbling along underneath. The vocals are subdued and laced with the regret of a dying relationship but this is still a very recognisable Pattern Pusher track with their distinct sense of style and gentle swagger alive in every note and beat.
